1. What GatewayIQ Is

GatewayIQ is an AI-powered F1 visa interview simulation platform. It simulates the behavior of US consulate visa officers to help Indian students prepare for their visa interviews. It is operated by Harish Maganti under the Mainaka brand (gatewayiq.in and mainaka.com).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use GatewayIQ. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, you may not use this platform.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account password.
• You must provide accurate information when signing up — including your email address and name.
• You must not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others.
• You must not create more than one account to circumvent mock limits or referral systems.
• We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use GatewayIQ only for its intended purpose — personal F1 visa interview preparation. You must not:

• Use the platform to collect, scrape, or harvest data from our systems
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate our AI models, prompts, or scoring logic
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the platform
• Abuse referral systems by creating fake accounts to earn credits
• Share or sell access to your account or referral codes in exchange for payment
• Use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure
• Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or fraudulent

5. Mock Interview Limits & Paid Access

Mock 1 is free for all registered users. Access to Mocks 2–5 (and beyond for Premium users) is subject to the following:

• Free path: Refer friends using your referral code to unlock additional free mocks
• Premium path: Pay the one-time Premium fee to unlock all mocks instantly
• Mock limits are per account. Creating multiple accounts to access additional free mocks is a violation of these terms and will result in account suspension.
• We reserve the right to change the number of free mocks or the referral unlock structure with reasonable notice.

6. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed securely via Razorpay. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service in addition to these terms.

• One-time fees: Premium access is a one-time charge. There are no subscriptions unless explicitly stated.
• Refund policy: Due to the digital nature of the product, we do not offer refunds after Premium access has been activated and mocks have been used. If you experience a technical issue that prevents access, contact us within 48 hours and we will investigate.
• Failed payments: If a payment fails, access will not be granted. Contact us if your payment was deducted but access was not provided.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on GatewayIQ — including the AI simulation engine, scoring system, prompts, feedback logic, brand name, logo, and written content — is owned by Harish Maganti / Mainaka and protected by applicable intellectual property law including trademark registrations in Classes 9, 35, 41, 42, and 45.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of GatewayIQ without explicit written permission.

Your interview transcripts and feedback are your personal data. We use them to improve the simulation under the terms described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Data Usage Consent

By using GatewayIQ, you consent to your anonymized interview data being used to improve the GatewayIQ simulation engine. Full details are in our Privacy Policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

9. Referral Program

• Each referral code is personal and non-transferable.
• Referral credits are granted only when a new user signs up with your code and verifies their email.
• Referral credits cannot be exchanged for cash.
• We reserve the right to reverse fraudulent referral credits (e.g., self-referrals, fake accounts).
• The referral program terms may change. Existing earned credits will be honoured.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

GatewayIQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The platform will be available at all times without interruption
• The AI simulation will accurately replicate real visa officer behavior in every instance
• Using GatewayIQ will result in a visa approval
• The feedback or scores will match the outcome of your real visa interview

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GatewayIQ and Harish Maganti shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform — including visa refusals, missed opportunities, or decisions made based on GatewayIQ output.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of GatewayIQ shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the platform, or engage in fraud. In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be provided.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@gatewayiq.in. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of GatewayIQ after a change constitutes acceptance.
